Enable USA :: A Second Chance Program
for Children in Colombia, South America
What comes to mind when you hear the word “childhood”? Perhaps you
imagine family dinners, school activities and holidays with grandma and
grandpa.
Thousands of young people in Colombia,
South America, cannot relate to such warm childhood memories. Their
innocence vanished long ago in a volatile atmosphere fueled by drug wars
for more than 40 years. Guerrilla and paramilitary groups deprive little
ones of a positive upbringing and education in exchange for the promise
of compensation and status of owning a gun.
When you hear these facts about enslaved
children, it’s overwhelming. But there is good news. These young people
have a way of escape, and you can help! Dr. Philip Johnston designed
Enable-USA’s Second Chance Program to assist hundreds of escaped
children who are victims of these drug wars.

Enable USA provides a way for you to get
involved in helping these children with our special greeting card sales
program. This program is part of a collaborative effort to help enslaved
children leave their units and return to civil society and a normal
life. Find out more about Enable USA's Second Chance program by visiting
